Rummage Sale News

Thursday, May 1, 9:30am–7pm 

Friday, May 2, 9:30am–5pm

Saturday, May 3, 9:30am–12:30pm ($1 Bag Day)

Volunteer April 26–30, 9am-5pm to get everything ready. Help an hour or all day. Lunches, coffee & snacks available. Many opportunities: accepting donations, sorting, folding, delivering to tables, organizing like items. Can sit or stand, work inside or outside. Organize toys, help in crafts or in the kitchen with dishes & cutting veggies, etc. Help set up tables on Friday April 25, 4-6pm & take down on May 3, from 12:30pm. Assist to pick up items from sites. On Thurs, May 1, help 1-2 hrs to direct customers, check out, in garage and straighten tables. 

Donations of food needed so that our cooks can make lunches. Example: meat, poultry to be prepared, salad makings, fruit/vegetables, relish trays, side dishes, homemade casseroles, desserts.

All donations accepted Saturday, April 26 through Tuesday, April 29, 9am-5pm & Wednesday, April 30, 9am-noon, at east entrance (1310 Mainstreet, Hopkins).

We accept clean, usable items: Clothes, footwear, books, DVDs, housewares, furniture, holiday, jewelry, yard & garden, toys, crafts, small appliances, bedding, towels, tools, rugs.

We do NOT accept: Large appliances or microwaves, baby car seats or cribs, wall-to-wall carpeting, computers or TVs, entertainment centers, hide-a-beds, large stereo sets or consoles, mattresses, box springs or waterbeds, old tires or windows, pianos or organs, toxic chemicals or paint, toilets.
