COVID-19 & Mass


All Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

wear masks while distributing Communion at all weekend Masses.

  • Masks are encouraged but not required at Mass or any other parish activity or event. 
  • We now use all pews for seating.  UPDATE: The 8am Sunday Mass now seating every other pew for those who prefer greater social distancing due to Covid-19. This will remain in place until further notice.
  • We resumed having people come forward in lines to receive Communion. 
  • We continue to stream the Saturday Vigil Mass. Live streams are viewable on our website: HERE, on our facebook page, and on YouTube (search for St. Gabriel the Archangel-Hopkins).

Safety Information

  • Please stay home if you are sick or symptomatic. 
  • Anyone age 65+ or with a compromised immune system should carefully weigh the risks and make a prudent decision about attending Mass in person.
